2016 Schedule of UNESCO Chair of Cyberspace and Culture: Dual-Spacization of the World

 

Although UNESCO Chair of Cyberspace and Culture: Dual-Spacization of the World is a nascent institute, it has tried to carry out multiple tasks since its establishment by early 2016. Negotiations with different people, bodies and institutes either in Iran or abroad has culminated in a set of agreements, speeches and presentations and the ground has been paved for further activities by the next year. UNESCO Chair of Cyberspace and Culture: Dual-Spacization of the World hereby presents its program time table for the rest of 2016.

We are going to have a series of speeches by international academic figures who have done projects in relation to cyberspace and culture.

All the events will take place in Iran Hall, Faculty of World Studies, University of Tehran. One of the requirements UNESCO has been to envisage “visibility and expected results at the national, regional and international level.” Therefore, UNESCO Chair for Cyberspace and Culture: Dual-Spacization of the World has sought to establish relations with other similar bodies and institutes across nations and cultures. Presently, we have formally signed an agreement with Russia based Institute of the Information Society and negotiations with other bodies and institutes are underway.
